what if we started doing something akin to the ice bucket challenge but to raise money/awareness for the situation in ferguson (and everywhere else in the u.s.)

My point is that if people get caught up in the sensationalism of it and it starts appearing all over social media, there’s no way to ignore what’s going on. I’m not going to pretend that I have even a faint idea of what PoC experience every day, especially in places like Ferguson. I just think that forcing people to open their eyes to the situation can’t be a bad thing.
